Historical information

Set of 12 photos of the loading, transport and post-reconstruction of MTOCo cable tram set No. 1 from the Science Museum to Preston Workshops, and one photo of the set in the glass case at the Science Museum. Item 6462 records that the set was moved to Preston Workshops on 8-9-1974. The June 1975 issue of Electric Traction records that is was moved into its glass case on Sunday 20/4/1975, covered over until its formal launch on 19/5/1975.
