Historical information

Strathmore-Gladstone Park Lions Club President Nick Martinelli receives a box of glasses from day centre participant Leslie Kingford. The people who attend day centre at Association for the Blind at Essendon responded enthusiastically to an appeal by the local Lions club for disused spectacles. The Lions use the spectacles to relieve vision problems of millions of people in Africa and Asia.
