Print from original oil painting of the 504 ton barque Glen Huntley arriving at Melbourne on 17 April 1840 with the international signal "QL" flying.
Artist and author Dacre Henry Deudraeth Smyth AO (1923-2008) had a 38 year career in the Royal Australian Navy and fought in World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars. After he retired he became a successful painter and author.
