Photograph shows the interior of the Body Shop at Preston Workshops with new trams under construction. Based on the door spacing, it would appear that they are W class trams, or possibly W1 class trams. The Preston Workshops commenced to producing W class trams late 1926. In the foreground is a bandsaw, workers sorting timber, lockers, storage racks, and benches with workers assembling items and other machinery. In the background are two or three trams of the non-W type.

Yields information about the interior of the Preston Workshops interior during the early manufacture of W class trams at the workshops.
