Historical information

Article gives a description of the closure or farewell tours of the Footscray tram system which closed on 10/3/1962. Has notes on the AETA farewell tour of 10/2/1962, the history of the system, photographs of the AETA tour, general operations and last day. Written by Les Gunn, with his photos. One photo by Geoff Grant shows PCC 1980 at the depot in 1954.
