1st Maccabi Victoria Hall of Fame 2000
Photocopy of George Szylland scrapbook. Born 30 November 1948, died 8 January 1988. George was the Vic open 100m & 200m breaststroke champion in 1966 & 2nd in the Australian 100m & 200m championship to World & Empire. Rachel Kalman said that George died of an overdose at age 39. George was posthumanously nominated for Victoria Maccabi Hall of Fame in 2000 (1st Hall of Fame) - the 75th year of Maccabi Victoria
