Physical description
A bottle green, woollen, greatcoat. The coat is double breasted, with a collar and fly-away lapels. It has a double row of 5 metal pressed buttons pressed with the State Electricity Commission of Victoria shield and labelling. The buttonholing is incomplete ensuring that the coat was never worn. The hip pockets and sleeve hems are trimmed with brown leather which, on the pockets, is finished with a semi-circular strengthening layer. The sleeves have a wrist band kept in place with a smaller version of the SECV metal pressed button. The two coat front panels are fully lined, and the back is lined to the waist. There is a hook and eye sewn to keep the collar together at the neckline.
