U.S. military produced unit patch of the 510th Tactical Fighter Squadron.
The design represented the squadron's global reach, striking speed, and technological tactical power. Known as the "Bien Hoa Buzzards," they flew combat missions in Vietnam from November 1965 to October 1969. Operating out of Bien Hoa Air Base, the squadron flew the North American F-100 Super Sabre, completing over 27,200 combat missions in Southeast Asia.
