David Londey's parents George Longmore Londey and Doris May Londey purchased a property in 1929 - 1930 in Kangaroo Flat to establish a market garden, which operated until the late 1950s. The house was previously known as "Tweedside" and was situated near Crusoe Road and the Calder Highway in Bendigo.
