Historical information

Set of 2 slides showing MMTB double-decker buses - model TD5c

1 - The brand new, unnumbered and unregistered TD5c is outside the front of Cheetham & Borwick in Cardigan Street Carlton. 1939. Second from the right is Hector Bell. One of the others is Mr Borwick, possibly beside Hector - an MMTB Official photo. The uncropped photo was published in Australianbus Vol. 4, Issue 19 Page 10 February 2007.
2 - The scrapped TD5c may be a K.S.Kings photo taken in the 1960's up around Mahoneys Road, Thomastown in a vehicle scrap yard.
