The back of the dress has a mental zipper and is fastened at the waist with two hooks and eyes.

There are three labels. Manufacturers label: Ronald's Gowns Melbourne. A label saying that the dress was made from rayon and nylon. These labels have black text on a white background. A label stating the dress was made under fair labour standards in Australia National Garment Industries. This label has a map of Australia that includes state boundaries with Victoria shaded in red. The text is green. The letters AAG are red and enclosed in a green diamond outline.
