Historical information

Set of six miscellaneous tickets. All used. Were recovered from Geelong tram No. 25, later No. 28, during reconstruction work by the donor. The tram had been sold to Melbourne Electric Supply Co. in 1928, formerly MMTB / PMTT No. 66
1 - Scholars concession - MMTB Electric tramways - No 581616 - note there is no section 1 mark on the ticket, which would not have allowed City travel.
2 - Scholars concession - MMTB - Prahran Malvern & Hawthorn Electric tramways - No 778564 - as above
3 - Transfer ticket - all Eastern suburbs routes - No. 581298
4 - Employees pass with conditions of travel on the rear
5 - VR St Kilda Brighton tramway - for St Kilda and Dickens St No. 265968
6 - TRAK Motors - 6d on red paper - part torn number 3897 with conditions of travel on the rear. TRAK Motors ran a private bus service along St Kilda Road and into the suburbs.

Yields information about tram tickets printed for the MMTB during the mid 1920s for use in the SE suburbs.
