Historical information
In 2020, Sunshine College in the west of Melbourne was a four-facility multi-campus school, operating two facilities catering to students in years 7–10, a year 11 and 12 facility for senior students, and the Harvester Technical College (HTC), catering to a year 10–12 cohort.
During 2020, the school was re-registered through the VRQA to operate in 2021 as two 7–12 campuses.
In 2024, the school employed over eight tutors to work with students alongside classroom teachers to ensure their learning was supported.
The Grattan Institute has published two reports on Sunshine College, highlighting it as a school that achieved exceptional 'value add' outcomes for students in mathematics and literacy, and detailing how we use data to impact learning.
