Historical information
Ballarat Tram 19 was built in 1916 by Meadowbank Manufacturing Co in Sydney for the Prahran and Malvern Tramways Trust. It came to Ballarat in 1931 and then transferred to Bendigo in 1960. It was renumbered and became second car No 7.
Bendigo had a No 19 car that was built in 1916 by Duncan and Fraser of Adelaide. It was originally built for Hawthorn Tramways Trust. It was transferred to Bendigo in 1932 and in 1935 renumbered 12 in the fleet.
