Handbook produced by the Australian Military Forces in 1944, each Officer was to be given one copy. It provides information on military life, for example: morale, leave, rations, complaints, pay, discharge, rehabilitation; anything an Officer would need to know to provide practical help in regards to the welfare of his men.

Physical description

Staple-bound cardboard cover. Item has three holes punched down the left side. Restriction note typed inside a black border at the top of the page. Australian emblem is displayed beneath with the words 'Australian Military Forces'. The title is printed in black ink between two double lines. The bottom of the cover contains the publication details in smaller black font. There is a white spine label sticker taped to the base of spine.
