Historical information
Jack Lockett became well known for being the oldest man in Australia and died at the age of 111. He was a World War 1 veteran who served in France and was wounded at least once. He became a farmer after the war and later retired to Bendigo. He was known for his long life and remarkably clear memories of World War 1.
