The tram in the centre is Number 41. Photo taken in the Depot Shed in July 1971 prior to the closure of the tramway. It was built in 1914 by Duncan and Fraser, Adelaide. Originally in Geelong and came to Ballarat when their trams stopped running in 1956. When Ballarat trams stopped in 1971, Tram 41 went to Horsham City Council for the Wimmera River Improvement League. The tram was converted inside and became a smokers' lounge within Olde Horsham Restaurant. Still operating today.
