This is a badge/medal of the Community of the Sisters of the Church, associated with one of their schools, St Michael's Grammar School in St Kilda, which was founded in 1895. The Sisters of the Church were an Anglican religious order founded in England in 1870 by Mother Emily Ayckbowm. They became heavily involved in girls' education and established and operated numerous schools in Australia,

Silver coloured school badge, pointed oval shape, with central cross and inscribed around the edge. Fabric fragment of the school's colours.
