Farewell performance of the Royal Comic Opera Company and Melbourne's goodbye to Miss Carrie Moore, at Her Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne, on 29 May 1903. Carrie Moore was an Australian musical comedy star, born Caroline Ellen Moore in Geelong Victoria in 1882. She had first appeared with the Royal Comic Opera Company in 1895. In 1903 she was asked by English producer/manager George Edwardes to travel to London. Her career continued to blossom in London, where she appeared in major theatre productions.
