Flag in use during Legacy Week and flown on tramcars in the 1950s and 60s. The Chairman, Sir Robert Risson was a strong supporter of Legacy.
Demonstrates a Legacy flag flown on tramcars during the 1950s to 1980s.
Flag made for use on tramcars - unused - nylon/cotton woven fabric and printed on various coloured cloths. Sewn with a loop at the left hand end to enable a wooden dowell to be fitted and secured and flown on a W class tramcar.
