Historical information
Article and images are for the release of two books about World War One: 'The Anzacs' by Patsy Adam-Smith and 'Light Horse : the story of Australia's mounted troops' by Elyne Mitchell and a review of the latter. Not so much a review as a brief outline of the heroic Australian soldiers of the Light Horse and their leader General Sir Harry Chauvel. There is a photo of nurses who served at Ismailia in early 1916.
Physical description
A centre spread of two pages from a black and white newspaper with two headings, an article over five columns and seven images. Five are photographs, two are the covers of books. All images have captions. The spread has had most of the edges cut away, leaving the top with publication details. At some point it was attached to a piece of card and folded, part of the card is still attached. The clipping has begun to degrade in colour and sturdiness.
