A collection of media archived by the Returned and Services Nurses relating to Australian Army nurses and nursing.
The collection includes:
- newspaper clippings relating to nursing, nurses and the Australian Army Nursing Service, published between 1963-1999.
- Programs and menu's from commemorative ceremonies for Returned Nurses
- memorabilia from memorial services
-handwritten profiles of nurses such as Lieutenant Bertha Alma Hewson
- a typed account and photocopies of photos from Sister Kathleen Teresia Keely's wedding at Moratai
- Annual reports
- photos of 113 AGH Sisters in Darwin
Physical description
Dark red spiral bound photograph album with gold ornate pattern down the spine. An ornate gold triple line border on the front cover with gold handwriting and additional inscriptions in silver marker.
The inside pages are paper with plastic pocket inserts across three quarters of each page, the remaining quarter of each page has lined memo sections to fill in.
The album contains a variety of mixed media.
