Melbourne's maritime heritage. The speakers discussed Melbourne's navigable waterways, history of the Railway, Princes & Station Piers plus the Centenary Bridge. Margaret BRIDE, representing the Cultural & Heritage Committee advised members about the widened interpretation of the term Heritage and in particular referenced recent CoPP decisions in respect of the Inkerman & Dick Whittington Hotels. Glen COSHAM reported on the recent funeral service for past member Glen STUART. 25 May 2021 saw the reintroduction of COVID restrictions in Melbourne due to an outbreak in the northern suburbs.
