Historical information

Rose Series postcard P 10651 titled "Panorama over Princes Bridge Melbourne", with three trams in St Kilda Road, two trams at Batman Ave terminus and the Flinders St station platforms along the lower edge of the card. In the background is Government House, the Shrine of Remembrance, former Wirths Circus buildings and the other various entertainment venues that formed the basis of the future Arts Centre. There are adverts for Dunlop, Aspro, Brockhoff biscuits and the Bradshaw Everett Business College.
