Olive ZAKHAROV (1929 -1995) was a humanist and Federal Senator. She infamously painted "NOT FOR SALE" on the roof of her house off Swallow Street as protest against development of the area. Olive tragically died after an accident left her in a coma for many weeks.

Olive was featured in the PMHPS Women of Port Melbourne exhibition, 17-29 October 2005.

Olive's Corner, at the corner of Liardet and Lalor Streets, Port Melbourne, is named in her honour and features an geometric sculpture of three columns.dedicated to her memory.
