Summary
Alroy: Set in the middle east in the twelfth century, the novel is a fictional account of the life of David Alroy, a historical Jewish messianic figure. It is a tale of adventure, religious fervour and political intrigue. It is considered to be one of the first Jewish historical novels.
Iskander: Based on the life of Albania's national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti (aka Skanderbeg).
