Historical information

A handwritten letter addressed to Mrs C [Havins] the secretary of the Returned Nurses Club (RNC) of Victoria from Irene Fenton. The letter is dated 15/6/1985. The letter and clipping were sent in response to the RNC's request for information on nurses during the wars.

The newspaper clipping is dated February 17, 1940. It speaks of a party held as a farewell for Alfred Hospital Sisters who were going abroad with the 2nd AIF.
