Postcard of A2 class tram 296, (East Brunswick, route 96) in Bourke St Mall, with two police members standing to one side. The tram was delivered in May 1987. Photo prior to the introduction of B class trams to this route in 1987. Note this was the only A class tram to received dual headlights with separate high and low beam globes. This tram never had Trolley poles or Trolley retrievers but has been retro fitted with A1 apron following an accident. Published by Biscay Greetings, BG 306.
