Photo shows Ballarat tram 12 about to enter the Carlton St crossing loop in Wendouree Parade. The tram has the destination of Mt Pleasant. The departure signal is showing red, indicating another tram is oncoming to the crossing loop. In the background is possibly another photographer. The tram has a Twin Lakes sign. Both stone gate pillars in included in the photograph. Photo possibly August/September 1971 prior to the closure of the Mt Pleasant line.
