Photograph shows a rear and side view of Z3 class 175 stationary in Swanston Street just south of Latobe Street with a Tram Recovery Vehicle stationary next to it on the other track. The tram, in grey Yarra Tram livery with destination 'Toorak route 8', has its pantograph touching the 'cut off' insulator on the overhead, which suggests it cannot access electrical power. Another works vehicle is parked in front of the tram and many pedestrians cluster at the intersection prevented from crossing to the other side.
Second photo shows a tram 147 with a lowered pantograph under tow with trams 175 and 138 in the background.
