As his visit to Australia 1929 was drawing to a close, Edward, Province of Wales, wrote to a circular letter to all Australian children. He expressed his delight in seeing so many on his tour & regret that he didn't see everyone. He goes on to ask if as a special favour they might have an extra week's holiday.
