Significance

Civic testimonial to a Mayor and Mayoress of Kew from 1950.

Physical description

Mayoral presentation folder from 1950. The testimonial is bound in blue leather, and the front cover includes gold-foil embossed detailing. The left insert cover features a copy of the Crest of the City of Kew. The right insert contains a printed invitation to the Complimentary Ball held at the Hawthorn Town Hall in 1950 on Thursday, 3rd August 1950, tendered to the Mayor of Kew and Mrs. F.W. Dods by the citizens of Kew in recognition of their services during their Mayoral Year 1949-1950. The back cover is undecorated blue leather.
