Historical information

Tram 21 was built by Duncan and Fraser, Adelaide in 1909. Originally built for the Municipal Tramways Trust of Adelaide. Came to Ballarat in 1937.
At the time of the photograph it was the only tram running that had five saloon windows. When the trams stopped running in 1971, it went to the Australian Electric Transport Museum, Adelaide, South Australia.
The photograph shows Tram 21 waiting at the Depot Loop waiting to cross with another tram.
