The biography of Edna Gault (1904-1992), a medical missionary in India, who contributed to the medical care, education, public health and social welfare of the area in which she worked. Edna's tireless championship of woman and their needs was life long and not restricted by race, wheher in India or Australia. Indeed, in her 70s and 80s her work with the problem of Aboriginals - adoloscents and woman - contributed several important scientific papers as well as letters to government authorities. Edna had married Ted Gault, and both were devout Christians, and spent much of thier lives as busy medical missionaries in India. Together they contrubuted grately to the medical care, medical education, public health and social welfare of the land.
