Photo shows a W2, running a route 4D City service in St Kilda Road with the Shrine of Remembrance in the background. The Shrine was completed in 1934. Photo mid to late 1930s. There are no motor vehicles in the view, though there are two or three men walking across the road, possibly to board the tram.
