From a collection of 50 digital photographs and 1 short video relating to Port Melbourne Tennis Club.

Information relating to individual images has been obtained from the image itself and/or the file name it has been given. The folder structure for the images has been maintained. One folder is called Opening with a sub-folder called EnTousCas which presumably refers to new court surface shown under construction and completed in some of the photos.

This is one of an eclectic mix of 32 images in a sub-folder named "EnTousCas" under "Opening". This is one of a seemingly unrelated set of 12 images named ETC01 to ETC12 in the "EnTousCas" sub-folder under "Opening".

Physical description

Digital copy of two mounted B&W photographs of Port Melbourne Tennis Club teams. The mount at the top has been cropped from the photograph but it seems these are PMTC premiership teams in the Southern Districts Tennis Association (SDTA) in the 1940s.

The top photograph has four women standing behind four seated men, all in tennis whites and holding racquets. The caption includes names and that they defeated Kooyong Road.

The bottom photograph has four women standing behind three seated men, all in tennis whites and holding racquets. The heading indicates they were Premiers, SDTA Winter Pennant 1948, AR3 Grade. The caption includes names and that they defeated Randall.
