Historical information

The photo shows a view looking west from Swanston St of Bourke St. There are multiple motor cars and one cable set in the view. In the background are Buckley & Nunns, Myer prior to full expansion to the west, the GPO and the Cromwell Building on the north-west corner of Elizabeth St. Photo, mid 1920s. Card published by WD & HO Wills, card No. 35 of 100 in the Australian Scenic Series, and that an album for them could be purchased for 1/6 from tobacconists. Notes that it is a Victorian Railways photo.
