Historical information
Tram 13 was built by Meadowbank Manufacturing Co. Sydney in 1915. First ran for the Prahran and Malvern Tramways Trust and the Geelong. Came to Ballarat in 1936. When the trams stopped running in 1971 it was donated to Lake Goldsmith Steam Preservation Society. Returned to Ballarat in 1983.
Photograph shows Tram 13 at Victoria Street on the last day of trams running to this location. A number of photographers are present for this event. Tram 13 was the first tram to be back at the Terminus that day.
