Historical information

Commemorative booklet for the dedication ceremony of the Australian Army Nurses' Memorial on Bangka Island.

The ceremony took place on March 2, 1993. It represented the 'fulfilment of a proposal (for the memorial) raised in 1992 by Matron Vivian Statham on behalf of her colleagues of the Australian Army Nursing Service.'

The booklet contains historiacl information and photographs and the order of service.
