Historical information
Tram 35 was built in 1916 by Duncan and Fraser for the Hawthorn Tramway Trust. It came to Ballarat in 1947 and was part of the Ballarat Fleet until the closure of the tram service in 1971. It went to the Ballarat Tramway Museum and the body was broken up.
The photograph shows Tram 35 at the terminus in Lydiard Street North at the corner of Norman Street. A tram stop shelter is on the nature strip on the right of the photo.
