This photographic copy of an older photo shows a large temporary archway across St Kilda Road at Batman Avenue on the north side of Princes Bridge. Signage on the arch reads 'Victoria's 150th Anniversary - 1984-85'. Numerous trams, motor vehicles and pedestrian are featured. Temporary archways to mark special occasions have been a common feature on St Kilda Road since the late 1800s.
