Historical information

This is a photo of 31 Squadron in front of a Beaufighter donated by the grandson of
Flight Sergeant William Henry Byrnes Aus.16808 it shows the nicknames in pencil he and his Pilot "Tiny"Wilkins are both in the photo.
They both were involved in a compulsory bailout of A19-71 over Cape Helverting, Bathhurst Island 29th December 1942.
