Postcard appears to have been published as a set with perforations along two edges where additional postcards may have been attached. Photograph looks across The Esplanade from an upper storey and shows a cable tram, several horse drawn carriages and many pedestrians on the footpath. In the mid ground are the pier and several low level buildings with sand, water and the horizon in the background.
