Document - titled "Heritage car preservation - PTC" with a photo of HTT tram No. 8 on blocks at Preston Workshops, undergoing reconstruction, dated 22/1/1992. Has notes on the history of the tram - built for the Hawthorn Tramways Trust, transfer to the MMTB, operation in Bendigo and preservation of the TMSV. The tram is now on display at Hawthorn Tram Depot - see reference -
Significance
Yields information about ex Sydney tram 1845 that was owned by Alywn Marshall in Ringwood and its recovery by the Minister for Public Transport.
