Historical information

Jones Miller & Co. was founded in 1862 with the major shareholders being William Jones, Edwin Miller, Albion Miller and Walter Miller. It conducted business in a variety of products including vegetables and fruit, confectionary and aerated waters. The company also produced confectionary as well as pickles, sauces and chutneys. The company had a branch in Melbourne but the business was sold in 1937 to H, M. Leggo & Co.
