About

The 5th/ 6th Battalion Royal Victoria Regiment Historical collection includes items relevant to the 5th/6th Battalion and its lineage including items that have been collected by current and former members. The 5/6th Battalion is an Army Reserve Infantry Battalion made up of members from all walks of life. The Battalion has Battle Honours dating back to South Africa 1899-1902. In more recent times members have deployed on Peacekeeping Operations as well as in Defence Aide to the Civil Community ie. Floods and Bushfires, the historical collection spans this entire period.

The collection is split across 5 locations, including 4 Company Depots and a Battalion Headquarters.
