Local district historical and resource centre. Collection is based around the original collection by the late Jessie Tillack who was a lifetime resident, as were her parents. The Centre is housed in a building which was given to the group as a permanent home in 2000.

The collection has been added to significantly with photographs and items from donations, local family histories and other collections. The Centre shares space with the local newspaper and as such maintains current historical records as well as past.

It is an active historical centre with approximately 20 members. The Centre has produced a number of books and is currently researching material for booklets on Houses in Birregurra; a residential History.

Our collection
