About
CCS is a local voice for the environment, conserving and enhancing Maroondah's natural and living environment. We aim to foster the preservation and retention of the treed character of Maroondah. We are a useful and reasonable body of local opinion for sound planning with respect to the objectives of the group. We also support good management of park-lands and reserves, encouraging community participation via friends groups.
Our collection
The collection consists of records of the Society including minutes, photographs, newspaper articles. It also includes material relating to publications and special projects such as Trees and Wildflowers of Croydon, memorial sites of Croydon, restoration of key sites etc.
