The Embroiderers Guild, Victoria is a not for profit organisation that encourages the development of all embroidery types through sharing of ideas and education.
Our collection
The collection is broken into 4 parts. Textiles covers embroidered items such as clothing, samplers, framed pieces and household items. The tools collection contains items that are used in sewing and embroidery pursuits such as scissors, tape measures, needlework boxes and artifacts. The Lace collection consists of examples of different lace types, both handmade and machine made. There are also a number of items that are used to create the different lace types. Archive is a new part of the collection and contains documents, books etc. that are important to the development of the Guild.
