Koroit has a collection of historical memorabilia relating to the local district and Koroit township. This includes objects, photographs, documents, books, booklets and some family research records. We have significant records of the early shires and some land settlement.

Significance

We are endeavouring to record and preserve the history of the local district and present. This is important for local clubs and families who wish to research events and happenings.

Thank you for displaying the little cast iron cobbler's shoe last from Sharkey's Shoe Repair shop that was once in Commercial Road, Koroit. The shop was once owned by my grandfather and then my late Uncle Stan Sharkey.
